Files converted to CDR are written by UniConvertor, an open-source engine, as a Corel-compatible file (CMX base, CDRX form). They open in CorelDRAW X4 and later and in any Corel application, but they are not files saved by CorelDRAW itself: some effects are flattened and no specific CorelDRAW version is targeted. Native CorelDRAW-saved CDR is coming as a premium option.
