Questions people ask before dropping the first file

Why will my CorelDRAW not open this file?

Because it was saved in a newer CorelDRAW than yours. The version is written inside the file, and CorelDRAW checks it before drawing anything: if the number is higher than its own, it stops. That is exactly what this tool changes.

Does the drawing lose quality?

No. Curves, text, colours, effects and bitmaps are not touched — only the version number the file declares. There is no re-export and no recompression.

Will the converted file always open?

Almost always, and the further back you go the lower the odds. Going back one or two versions is safe; from 2017 and below CorelDRAW may complain about an effect that did not exist yet. The version you pick shows its chance before you download.

Do I need CorelDRAW installed?

No. Everything runs in your browser and on our servers. CorelDRAW only matters afterwards, on the machine that opens the copy you download.

Can I convert several files at once?

Yes. Select many, drag them together, paste with Ctrl+V or send a .zip with the whole folder — we open up to 40 drawings from a zip and hand everything back as one .zip.

What is the maximum file size?

120 MB per file. Bigger files are refused before anything is uploaded.

What happens to my artwork?

It stays on the server only as long as it takes to convert and download, and is deleted automatically after 6 hours. We do not open, index or share it.

How much does it cost?
